Zum 1. April ist Prof. Dr. ir. Christian Louter zum neuen Direktor des Institutes für Baukonstruktion berufen worden. Er promovierte an der Technischen Universität Delft und war dann im Weiteren als Postdoktorant an der École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in der Schweiz tätig. In 2015 trat er eine Assistenzprofessur für Tragwerksplanung an der Technischen Universität Delft an. Mit seiner Erfahrung bringt er neue Akzente und Ideen in das Institut für Baukonstruktion ein, die sich in der Lehre und Forschung im Bereich des Glas- und Fassadenbaus wiederfinden. Hauptsächlich der Dünnglastechnologie gilt sein besonderes Augenmerk für weitere Forschungsarbeit. Wir wünschen ihm einen guten Start an der Technischen Universität Dresden!

Prof. Dr. ir. Christian Louter appointed new Director of the Institute of Building Construction

 As of April 1, Prof. Dr. ir. Christian Louter has been appointed as the new Director of the Institute of Building Construction. He received his doctorate from Delft University of Technology and has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. In 2015, he took up an Assistant Professorship in Structural Design at Delft University of Technology. With his experience, he brings new accents and ideas into the Institute of Building Construction regarding education and the research domain of Glass and Façade Construction. Especially the field of thin glass technology has his specific attention. We wish him a good start at the Technische Universität Dresden!
