Die International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) https://iacm.info/, die Dachorganisation für computergestützte Ingenieurwissenschaften, hat ihr Leitungsgremium neu gewählt. Der Japaner Professor Kenjiro Terada, Tohoku University, Sendai,  wurde als Präsident für die nächsten vier Jahre an die Spitze dieser Fachgesellschaft berufen. Professor Michael Kaliske, Institut für Statik und Dynamik der Tragwerke, Fakultät Bauingenieurwesen, wurde als Vizepräsident für Europa, Mittlerer Osten und Afrika ebenfalls in das Leitungsgremium gewählt.

The Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) https://iacm.info/, umbrella organization for computational engineering sciences, has newly elected its executive council.  Japanese Professor Kenjiro Terada, Tohoku University, Sendai, has been appointed as President for the next four years. Professor Michael Kaliske, Institute for Structural Analysis, Faculty of Civil Engineering, has been elected as Vice-President for Europe, Middle East and Africa as member of the executive council.
