FE-modelling of bond-related RC problems
A lecture on „FE-modelling of bond-related RC problems“ will be held on January 25 at 9.30 a.m. in BEY 70 (guests are welcome!). Carlos Zanuy Sanchez from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid will talk about „FE-modelling of bond-related RC problems“. He summarizes his lecture as follows: „A finite element model is presented to reproduce the bond-slip behaviour of reinforced concrete. Surface-to-surface contact elements are used at the interface between both materials. The contact properties are fitted to account for the influence of transverse pressure and tension on bond strength and failure mode.“
